The Formal Wear of the Orchestras (Tehran Symphony Orchestra and Iran’s National Orchestra)

Beauty is inherent in human nature, and art is the volcano of this internal fusion. Art knows no time and place and remains eternal and infinite. Since Hacoupian always has a colorful presence and expression in art with its beauty and creation, it also praises and supports fine music. Fine music, regardless of its type, improves the quality of life and therefore deserves attention and support.

Based on a 50-year tradition, Hacoupian is a patron of the fine arts, especially music. Since a major part of the country’s orchestral music is carried out by the Roudaki Foundation, which owns the Tehran Symphony Orchestra and Iran’s National Orchestra, Hacoupian Company put the support of the Roudaki Foundation as the trustee of the Tehran Symphony Orchestra and Iran’s National Orchestra on the agenda. For this purpose, a memorandum of cooperation was concluded with Roudaki Foundation.

The formal wear of the orchestras, Tehran Symphony Orchestra and Iran’s National Orchestra, were designed and tailored by the senior designer of Hacoupian Company.

Hacoupian with the Tehran Symphony Orchestra from 1973 to 2018

More than seven decades have passed since the establishment of Tehran Symphony Orchestra and during this period it has been accompanied by many ups and downs, but it has always maintained and improved its brilliant role in strengthening and developing the country’s orchestral music. Tehran Symphony Orchestra has experienced many conductors, the first of which was Gholamhossein Minbashian, who performed at the Homa Cinema Hall in 1934 on the occasion of Ferdowsi’s Millennium Celebration, and the last one was Shahrdad Rouhani, who has been conducting this orchestra since 2016.

Hacoupian and Iran’s National Orchestra

Iran’s National Orchestra was founded twenty years ago by Farhad Fakhredini and experienced its first performance in the same year with the performance of Mohammad Reza Shajarian and the conductorship of Fakhredini in the garden of the Chehelston Museum in Isfahan. In a short period of time, this responsibility was given to Bardia Kiaras when Fakhredini was away from the orchestra for eleven years; and at the moment Fereydoun Shahbazian is the conductor of this orchestra.

Since this orchestra is involved with Iran’s national music and Iranian instruments, Hacoupian, along with designing and sewing the formal wear of this orchestra, provided it with the opportunity of participating and performing together with the Tehran Symphony Orchestra in the World Cup in Russia in order to perform the national anthem of Iran.

By supporting Iran’s orchestras to participate in the World Cup in Russia in an exclusive way, Hacoupian made it possible for these orchestras to perform the national anthem of Iran and other compositions in the three cities of Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Kazan. Many Iranian and non-Iranian music enthusiasts watched the signs of Iranian art and culture in these three cities.
