Victor Hugo’s Les Misérables will never get old and never diminish in importance. This is a part of the introduction written by Hossein Qoli Mustaan, the first translator of Les Misérables novel.

Apart from the content of the musical theater of Les Misérables, which is considered one of the masterpieces of the world’s classical literature, , the form and the method of performance, the performance hall, more than one hundred and twenty thousand audience and of course the huge and professional group of actors and musicians, is considered a new experience in the country’s theater.

The presence of actors like Parsa Pirouzfar, Navid Mohammadzadeh, Parinaz Izdiyar, Sahar Dolatshahi, Hoten Shakiba, Ashkan Khatibi on the one hand, and the accompaniment of a large orchestra conducted by Bardia Kiaras on the other hand added to the uniqueness of this play.”
